2009 Coming of Age Class Project
What’s your story?
Tell us in six words.
That is the idea behind the six word memoir. We, the 2009 Coming of Age class, worked on a Six Word Memoir project which we presented to the CUC congregation during our Coming of Age ceremony on Saturday, May 16, 2009 and again the next day during the CoA service. Those who submitted memoirs reflected on their life, composed a six word memoir, and then shared it with us in print, video or both. You can learn more about six word memoirs by visiting http://www.smithmag.net.
If you do not see your submitted memoir in this video, we apologize. Due to the time constraints of the video, which was to be kept under 4 minutes, and the timing of the music, some creative gems got left on the cutting room floor (be it virtual or what-have-you.) It is always disappointing, but unfortunately inevitable.
However, those additional memoirs are posted here for your inspiration and/or amusement.
A huge thank-you goes to our teachers for helping us with this project and for compiling it into a thoughtful and entertaining video we can all share.
